MATH 213 X1 - Basic Discrete Mathematics

Description:
Beginning course on discrete mathematics, including sets and relations, functions, basic counting techniques, recurrence relations, graphs and trees, and matrix algebra; emphasis throughout is on algorithms and their efficacy. Course Information: Credit is not given for both MATH 213 and CS 173. Prerequisite: MATH 220 or MATH 221, or equivalent.

This section is restricted to Computer Engineering until business hours on May 7, 2020. Note that section E1 is unrestricted. Closed overrides will not be given. Some seats are reserved for new off-campus transfers in Computer Engineering. Any remaining seats will be released during business hours on the Friday before fall classes begin.
