Maryland Residents:

The State of Maryland is currently taking steps to authorize institutions in certain other states, including Illinois, to offer online distance education programs and courses to students residing in Maryland. That authorization is expected to be completed by January 1, 2016. Students whose resident address is in Maryland are welcome to apply to University of Illinois online courses and programs, but will be able to begin taking courses only after the State of Maryland completes its authorization process.
