Admission Deadline: May 15th for fall and October 1st for spring Description: The Administrative Nursing Leadership Program synthesizes the disciplines of nursing and management in order to efficiently and effectively direct nursing operations in health care agencies toward realization of the goals of both the profession and the agency. The focus includes organizational behavior, human resources, fiscal management, leadership and managerial functions of the nurse manager.
The 18-semester hour program can be completed in 3 semesters of part-time study.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the certification exam in nursing administration (CNA) offered by the American Nurse’s Association Credentialing Center. Admission Requirement(s): The following criteria must be met for admission: 1. Baccalaureate degree, no restrictions 2. License to practice as a professional nurse in at least one political jurisdiction. 3. Prior experience as an RN in a variety of settings results in a stronger admission application.
