Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in agricultural and biological engineering intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: 1 to 4 undergraduate hours. 1 to 4 graduate hours. May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary to a maximum of 16 hours.

Problems in the Critical Zone: Global Classroom Students who take this class will engage with the USA, Brazilian and German partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of: - How inherent and changing scenarios impacts water resources; - The dominant processes that degrade water resources and how degradation impacts ecosystem services; - Why, how, and where degradation of water resources likely will continue to occur; - The practices and policies that can be applied to mitigate water resources degradation; - How data inventories, indicators, and models are being used to measure and manage water resources.
