LNG 336 - Intro to Hispanic Literature

Explores the terminology needed to interpret and analyze literary texts, genres, and movements in the Spanish language. Introduction to Hispanic prose, poetry and drama; research matters of political ideas, gender, class, and race as they relate to the Spanish speaking world. Students will be exposed to literary texts written in Spanish and develop strategies to improve their formal academic writing and speaking by articulating their opinions of the texts.
