Special Instructions:

Philosophical beginnings of AI (A. Turing), philosophical problems in AI (e.g. different notions of computability), and philosophical problems with present/future AI (ethical, social, futurological). Focus on broad theoretical problems at cutting edge of AI: continuity between artificial/biological cognitive architectures, discovery machines, machine consciousness, life-long learning for AI, Artificial General Intelligence. Requires Departmental Approval.
