Description:

This course provides students the fundamental theory and skills necessary to design, develop, and evaluate human centered information systems. By the end of the course students will be able to gather user needs in light of existing sociotechnical systems, design effective human centered interfaces, implement interactive prototypes, and conduct unit testing and user studies of software. The course will employ lectures, mini projects and in-class hands-on activities to reinforce the ideas presented. Course Information: 4 graduate hours. No professional credit.
