FR 207 A - Writing and Grammar Workshop

Campus: Urbana-Champaign


Practice-intensive grammar review and vocabulary-building, with an emphasis on strategies to improve accuracy of, and expressivity in, speaking and writing in French. Grammar textbook supplemented with readings and materials from French and Francophone culture (articles, social media, literary works, films). Course Information: Prerequisite: Four years of high school French or equivalent, or FR 134 or, with departmental approval, FR 104.

Special Instructions:

Course is second 8 weeks. Starts 3/22/2021 - 05/05/21 This 2nd eight-week course, taught from 3/22/2021 to 05/05/21 will be taught fully online. It will meet synchronously on Tuesdays and Thursdays and include relevant writing assignments to be accomplished by students during the week. Additional details will be available in the syllabus.
