CI 420 AE - Found of Early Childhood Educ

Students will study of the role of the early childhood teacher in designing, organizing, and implementing educational programs for children in preschools, kindergartens, and the primary grades. This course includes the history, philosophy, and theory of early childhood education. Students will complete a morning field placement in a local elementary school. Course Information: 5 undergraduate hours. 5 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Admission to the Early Childhood Teacher Education Program; EPSY 236; EPS 201.

Special Instructions:

Synchronous attendance required. Moodle LMS. Course meets M&W only pre-practicum and post-practicum. Course meets F only during practicum weeks. Students should not register for any other morning courses.
