BTW 263 S1 - Writing in the Disciplines - Technical Writing & Game Desn

Description:
Teaches students to apply principles of professional communication to the writing tasks typical of specific disciplines or professions. Assignments will vary, depending on the focus of the course, but will include a substantial report or project. Course Information: Credit is not given for both BTW 263 and either BTW 250 or BTW 261. Prerequisite: Junior standing and completion of campus Composition I requirement.
Special Instructions:
Creative Game Design takes your game from concept to online launch in a single semester. Using Unity 3D game engine, you will explore both the artistry of storytelling and world building. You'll design an original game, and write proposals, game manuals, and instructional guides. Overall, you'll gain hands-on experience in programming and 3D design and sharpen your writing skills in areas such as word choice, editing, drafting, and awareness of your audience. Prior experience in programming is not necessary, and all majors are welcome. Ready player one-
