Study of the major processes involved in an individual's adjustment to the communication situations of everyday life; emphasis on the development of interpersonal competency and orientations, social perception, interpersonal sentiment and hostility, trust, and the social context as factors influencing the understanding and evaluation of interpersonal messages. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CMN 230 or consent of instructor.
