Special Instructions:
This course will study key speakers and speeches of the Black Freedom Struggle throughout US history. We'll trace the evolution of the battle, study its key rhetorical strategies, and assess its impact. In general, we'll focus on one speaker or speech per week and study the linguistic means they used to change US society.
