Managers in firms today must be equipped to deal with the new reality of a socially connected society. In this course, students will improve their analytical capabilities and understanding of the opportunities and challenges that social media, global collaboration and new ways of engaging customers pose for the firm. An emphasis will be placed on managerial decision making in the context of the social media phenomenon. Course Information: 4 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: Enrollment in the MBA, MSTM, or PMBA program or in the IT Graduate Minor/Concentration.
