Special preparation in specialized fields of musicology, composition-theory, performance, and music education. Course Information: 0 to 4 undergraduate hours. 0 to 4 graduate hours. Approved for Letter and S/U grading. May be repeated to a maximum of 16 hours. Prerequisite: Senior or graduate standing in music or music education; consent of instructor.

Special Instructions:

This highly participatory class surveys both classic and contemporary styles of musical theatre repertoire and is appropriate for all levels of singing experience and ability. Methods of instruction include daily warm ups, vocal exercises, song memorization, and performances. There will be a great deal of feedback from the instructor. REPLACED BY MUS 422
