Special Instructions:
Introduction to Cultural Heritage Collections: Library Special Collections, Archives, and Museums. This eight-week survey course is meant to introduce students, especially those with limited prior knowledge of special collections, archives, museums, and preservation to the key elements and concerns in such programs with a focus on those found in academic institutions. Students will learn basic concepts and terminology, workflows, staffing models, and interrelationships both within and outside cultural heritage curation and care.
