ENG 460 - Topics in Literature - Topic: Vampires!

How literary works express such themes as the American dream, futurism, industrialism, minority experiences, women's roles, and nature writing. Course Information: May be repeated if topic varies. Students may register in more than one section per term. Prerequisites: C in ENG 303.

Special Instructions:

This class will use Nina Auerbach's influential interpretation of vampires as shifting and monstrous reflections of ourselves as a starting point for the consideration of 200 + years of vampire literature in English. Requires Departmental Approval.
