Offers the opportunity for students with limited research experience to explore the fundamentals of graduate education across various disciplinary fields. Course content provides an introduction for processes of knowledge generation across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Case studies will be used to contextualize the scientific processes. In addition, students learn how to plan for an advanced degree. Course Information: Approved for S/U grading only. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. Restricted to students enrolled in Graduate School Exploration Program. Juniors and first-year transfer students by application only.
