Special Instructions:

One of the most effective ways to defend your digital environment is to test it with the same tools/tactics an attacker might use against you. You will examine various types of security tools, use different assessment methods, distinguish between passive/active tools, and interpret results of security tools. Course uses immersive mock IT infrastructure to practice skills in realistic security scenarios. Prerequisite: CSC 275. Requires Departmental Approval
