IS 582 MDO - Adv Topics in Librarianship - Make-Design-Learn in Libraries

Variety of newly developed and advanced topics courses within the field of Librarianship, intended to augment the existing Information Sciences curricula. Course Information: Additional fees may apply. See Class Schedule. 2 to 4 graduate hours. No professional credit. May be repeated in the same or separate semesters to a maximum of 16 hours, if topics vary.

Special Instructions:

This course teaches knowledge and skills needed for information professionals to work successfully in a makerspace, learning lab, or other creative spaces. The course covers relevant theories, research, practices, and technologies on making, design thinking, and learning in libraries. this is a synchronous, online course and includes hands-on maker activities that can be done at home.
