FSHN 249 A - Food Service Sanitation

Description:

Examines the dangers, costs and prevention of foodborne illness as well as the training and motivation of food service employees in sanitary food handling and quality assurance practices. Upon completion of this course, student will be eligible to apply for the food service sanitation certificate issued by the State of Illinois. Course Information: Credit is not given for FSHN 249 and FSHN 349. Class Schedule Information: Self-paced.

Special Instructions:

This on-line course has one required class meeting: last class/national certification exam. Restricted to FSHN undergrads. Any remaining seats will open to non-majors at the beginning of Freshman registration.
