Special Instructions:
Introduces students to digital curation; focusing best practices for the creation, selection, storage, provision, and long-term preservation of digital entities. Discusses the digital/data curation lifecycles and identifies the activities associated with each stage and their social, legal, ethical, and policy implications. A WISE course; requires consent of Graduate Studies Advisor to enroll (klucht@illinois.edu).
