Introduces students to the theory and practice of social welfare planning. The course is designed to help students apply concepts and methods to their specific social work fields of interest. Content includes a review of policy analysis, needs assessment, establishing goals and objectives, program design, budgeting, management information systems, and program evaluation. Course Information: Prerequisite: Admission to MSW program or consent of instructor.
