NRES 499 BCR - Special Topics - Bahamas Coral Reef Grad Exp

Experimental course on a special topic in natural resources and environmental sciences. Course Information: Additional fees may apply. See Class Schedule. 1 to 4 undergraduate hours. 1 to 4 graduate hours. Approved for both letter and S/U grading. May be repeated in the same or separate terms to a maximum of 12 hours as topics vary. Class Schedule Information: Field trip fee may be assessed for some sections.

Special Instructions:

This course will combine a series of online class meetings in October through December, with a field experience on Andros Island, Bahamas January 3-10, 2020. The course will take place on the island of Eleuthera, in The Bahamas. Students will build skills to assess reefs and connecting habitats in conjunction with studies of how humans are impacting fish behavior and/or distribution. Course fees are expected to be approximately $3500 per student.
