This course will help students to explore the way the social environment, behavioral, and biological factors influence obesity, overeating, and dieting behavior. Students will learn about the most recent findings in the areas of obesity epidemic, eating behavior, and food addiction. These findings illuminate how human behavior interacts with food, obesity, and health. You will consider and discuss the public policy interventions that have been designed to address these issues.
