CSC 482 - Algorithms and Computation

Description:

The course covers methods and techniques for designing efficient algorithms, analyzing their complexity and applying these algorithms to well-known practical problems and applications. Methods for recognizing and dealing with hard problems are studied. Course Information: Prerequisites: CSC 385, CSC 302, MAT 113 or MAT 115, MAT 121

Special Instructions:

The department strongly suggests that undergraduate students take CSC 482. This is a new core foundational undergraduate class that fulfills the requirements for CSC 387. Students with catalog term of Fall 2019 can choose between CSC 387 and CSC 482. Students with a catalog term prior to Fall 2019 can petition to count CSC 482 towards CSC 387.
