Overview of bitcoin (BTC), cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies. Provides an understanding of how cryptography concepts are applied to form digital currencies and other applications. Is bitcoin secure- Can purchases be tracked- How- Topics: foundational concepts of bitcoin, how decentralization works, why it is important, blockchain contract fundamentals, security, mining (creating currency), altcoins, the future of BTC.
