Description:
An advanced research course that develops skills for evaluating social service programs. The course assumes students have had prior courses in research methods and statistical analysis. This course provides an understanding of theoretical concepts, techniques, and research findings for evaluating a specific program, its implementation, and its effectiveness. It systematically analyzes program evaluation models and critically examines application of these models in the context of social work practice and social welfare policy. Course Information: Prerequisite: SOCW 427 and a college level statistics course.
Special Instructions:
Course registration is limited to iMSW 2018 cohort students only. Collaborate sessions will be held on Mondays from 6:00-7:30.
