Students in labor and industrial relations may register for this unit with the consent of the curriculum adviser and the adviser under whom the student will perform individual study or research. Such individual work may include special study in a subject matter for which no course is available or an individual research project, including on-the-job research in industry, which is not being undertaken for a thesis. Course Information: 0 to 8 graduate hours. No professional credit. Approved for Letter and S/U grading. May be repeated if topics vary; unlimited credit hours for graduate and professional students.
Special Instructions:
Synchronous Collaborative sessions: Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 on March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and Wednesday, May 5. This course is part of a self-supporting program and DOES NOT accept the following tuition and fee waivers (TFWs): Cooperation Teachers waivers, Non-Academic waivers (including UIUC employees and employees of other state institutions), Academic waivers from UIUC, UIC, and UIS employees, Related Agency waivers, Field Supervisor waivers, waivers granted through fellowships/assistantships as governed by the Graduate College at UIUC, or Retiree waivers.
