Special Instructions:

Emphasis on Database installation, User Security, Database Maintenance, Database Optimization and Schema Development using industry standard database systems. The following tools will be used for the course: Microsoft SQL Database, Oracle Database, Mysql Database and associated database administration tools. Projects will be tested and evaluated on Virtual Machines. Practical application will include installing database systems, backup and recovery, account creation, account security, data transfer, and database optimization. Contact csc@uis.edu.
