MATH 299 HS - Topics in Mathematics - NetMath Capstone Course
Topics course; see Class Schedule or department office for current topics. Course Information: May be repeated in the same or subsequent semesters to a maximum of 8 hours. Prerequisite: MATH 220 or MATH 221; consent of instructor.
Math 299 is the final course towards qualifying for the NetMath certificate program. This course involves writing a paper to demonstrate and apply the knowledge you have gained from taking NetMath courses. There are no quizzes or exams, and the course grade is based on the following: - Proposal for capstone paper (30%)- - Capstone paper (60%)- - Communication with instructor (10%)Registration must be completed at: https://netmath.illinois.edu/Register. Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning restrictions and assessments apply. The NetMath program is not semester-based; it is a continuous enrollment (self-paced) program and registrations in course sections are accepted at any time during the year. The start date of an individual student is the date the student has been officially enrolled in the course by the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning staff.
