Special Instructions:
This is an online course. Provides an understanding of effective human resource management systems for obtaining, mobilizing, and managing the organization-s human resources, using a strategic lens. Examines the links across different functions within human resource management, as well as how human resource management connects to the broad scope of business strategy. Develops students' ability to analyze human resource policies and practices. This course will be conducted entirely online and structured into weekly modules. Each module starts at 12:00 a.m. on Monday morning and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night, U.S. Central Time. The required readings and video/audio lectures for each week will be distributed through the course Compass site.
