NRES 474 XM - Soil and Water Conservation

Description:

Application of principles of soil conservation and management to the solution of land-use problems; influence of soil characteristics on erosion control, cropping intensity, water management, and land-use planning. Includes a field trip. Course Information: Additional fees may apply. See Class Schedule. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: NRES 201.

Please note: This section will have synchronous (live) sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, to be held during the scheduled class day/time listed in Course Explorer. There is a third, asynchronous, course activity that must be completed each week. Students are required to log in and use Compass2g (compass2g.illinois.edu) in order to complete this course. Online scheduled class sessions require each student to have high speed internet access and either a headset with microphone or an external microphone and speakers so they may participate in the class discussions. Wireless internet is not recommended. There is NO field trip required for this section.
