i-cards and Network IDs

i-cards
The i-card is the official University of Illinois identification card. It is used to access services and appropriate facilities and to verify status on all three University of Illinois campuses. Services vary from campus to campus and are described on the i-card Web site.

Off-campus students do not automatically receive i-cards. If needed, however, an i-card can be requested by contacting your home department, which in turn will send the request to the ID Center on your home campus. The card will be issued without a photo unless you are able to visit the ID Center in person. In order to gain access to University facilities, a picture ID must be presented in conjunction with the photoless i-card.

Network IDs
The Network ID is a unique login name used to access a variety of online university services and information resources. All students, faculty, and staff at all three campuses are issued Network IDs when they begin their affiliation with the University.
