U of I Online Military Benefit & Resources
The University of Illinois Online works with military personnel
to ensure that individuals are taking advantage of all opportunities
available to them. The branches of the military, excluding the
Navy, reimburse up to $250 per credit hour up to a maximum of
$4,500 annually. The tuition for courses at the University of
Illinois ranges from well below the maximum reimbursement, to
well above. Tuition varies from program to program.
There are two educational entitlement programs available to
veterans; the Active Duty Montgomery
GI Bill and the Selected Reserve Montgomery GI Bill. Please
