Online Learning at the University of Illinois:
Success Stories, Lessons Learned, and Future Opportunities.
April 5 and 6, 2005
Urbana, IL

The reception and dinner on Tuesday evening, April 5th, will be held in the fifth floor tower room at the Beckman Institute (405 North Matthews Avenue, Urbana, IL).

Walking:  If the weather is nice, this is a pleasant 0.4 mile walk that should take 10 minutes or less.  If you are staying at the Illini Union, exit the building to the north by the circle drive, cross Green Street, continue north across the Bardeen Quadrangle, walk to the west of the Grainger Library, cross Springfield Avenue, and continue walking north through the north campus quadrangle - enter the Beckman Institute through the main doors on the south side of the building.

Driving:  If you will be driving from the Illini Union to the Beckman Institute, driving directions follow:

From the Illini Union parking lot, turn right (east) onto Green St.

Take the first left and turn (north) onto Matthews Avenue.

Go 0.3 miles north on Matthews Avenue - the Beckman Institute will be on your left (west side of street).  [If you get to University Avenue, you have gone too far!]

Park in the Circle Drive lot on the east side of the Beckman Institute (if spaces are available).  If spaces are not available, then park in UIUC Parking Deck B4 on the east side of Matthews Avenue.  Parking is free in both locations after 5:00 pm.

Enter the Beckman Institute through the doors on the east side of the building.
