Materials Failure Analysis

Curriculum: Student must complete three of the following courses:

  • GE 411 (GE 334) - Introduction to Reliability Engineering
  • ME 430 (ME 346) - Failure Mechanisms in Engineering Materials
  • ME 431 (ME 347) - Mechanical Component Failure
  • ME 450 (ME 351) - Modeling in Materials Processing
  • ME 532 - Fracture Resistant Design
  • MSE 445 - Corrosion of Metals
Student are required to maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher for the sequence and receive a letter grade of B- or higher in each course.
