Coursework for the Masters must be completed with a cumulative UIS grade point average of at least 3.00. The degree can be completed in thirty-two hours (eight courses):
- 1. 28 hours of CSC Electives approved by the student's advisor (12 hours may be taken at the 400-level, but at least 16 hours must be taken at the 500-level): and
- 2. CSC540 - Graduate Research Seminar (4 hours)
Graduate students enrolled in 400-level courses should expect more stringent grading standards and/or additional assignments. Courses numbered CSC410x and CSC442 will NOT count on the Master's in CSC.
