LER 591 D - Employment Relations Systems

Description:

General framework for the analysis of employment relationships. Topics include industrial relations theory, the American system of collective bargaining, intercountry system differences, and human resource management strategies and practices. Course Information: Prerequisite: Graduate standing.

Special Instructions:

Synchronous Collaborative sessions: Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 pm central time on August 24, 31, September 7, 14, 21, 28, October 6, 12. This course is part of a self-supporting program and DOES NOT accept the following tuition and fee waivers (TFWs): Cooperation Teachers waivers, Non-Academic waivers (including UIUC employees and employees of other state institutions), Academic waivers from UIUC, UIC, and UIS employees, Related Agency waivers, Field Supervisor waivers, waivers granted through fellowships/assistantships as governed by the Graduate College at UIUC, or Retiree waivers. This program DOES accept statutory waivers (veterans grants, etc.)
