NRES 511 XM - Principles of Applied Ecology

Description:

Provides a thorough foundation of fundamental ecological principles that govern the distribution and abundance of organisms with extra attention to applied ecology as it pertains to current-day ecological problems. The approach will include lectures, discussions, hands-on evaluation and interpretation of data and experimental design presented in case studies, and design and implementation of an independent research project. Course Information: Prerequisite: At least one undergraduate or graduate course in biology or ecology.

Special Instructions:

Online scheduled class sessions require each student to have high speed internet access and either a headset with microphone or an external microphone and speakers so they may participate in the class discussions. Wireless internet is not recommended.
