Kathleen M. Rose, MA, began her career in distance education in 1986, in John F. Kennedy University's pioneering online instruction program. Currently, she is a Distance Education Specialist at the Center for Media and Independent Learning where she acquires and maintains courses, and selects, trains, manages, and evaluates instructors, and monitors independent learning and online courses for academic quality and effectiveness.
