John R. Bourne is Professor of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. He is Editor of the Journal of ALN and runs the ALN Web. He has been on the faculty at Vanderbilt for 30 years and is a Fellow of the IEEE.
