Dr. Reuven Aviv is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Open University of Israel (OUI). He specializes in Computer Communication Networks, Distributed Computer Systems and Algorithms, and in Asynchronous Learning Networks. He was previousely the Director of the Tele LEarning Methodologies (TELEM) project and senior consultant to the Director of the Center for Information Technology in Distance Education, both at the OUI. Dr. Aviv is on sabbatical leave from the OUI, at The School of Mathematical and Computing Sciences, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
