Chicago
Credit Programs
eTuition at UIC: Effective Summer 2005, tuition for all approved online degree and non-degree programs at UIC is $695 per credit hour. Fees may be assessed depending on the program and courses in which the student is enrolled. Please check with the Program Coordinator listed on the PROGRAMS/COURSES page for details. Note: Students admitted into an online program who take on-campus courses will be assessed the eTuition, regardless if that student takes only on-campus courses. Conversely, students admitted into a campus program that is not an online program will be assessed campus Range tuition regardless if they take any online courses, even if they are taking only online courses during a term.

Non-Credit Programs and Courses
Non-credit programs and courses at UIC are not assessed the eTuition. Individual program fees for UIC's non-credit online programs are listed in the UI Online catalog as well as the UIC Online site. If you do not see your program listed, please contact the Program Coordinator listed on the Enrollment section of the UIC Online site.

Springfield
For the most up-to-date tuition and fee information, visit http://www.uis.edu/registration/tuition/. The fee schedule provided on this site applies to all online courses offered by the Springfield campus. This information is subject to change without notice.

Urbana-Champaign
For most individual courses offered by the Urbana campus, tuition is charged by the credit hour or quarter unit, and there is no difference in the rates for residents and nonresidents. The Division of Academic Outreach lists the current costs for many of the regular credit and guided individual study courses available.

Tuition for courses that are part of a degree or certificate program are governed by the rates established for that particular program. Some programs charge different rates for Illinois residents and nonresidents and some charge a flat rate regardless of residency. Visit the program's Web site for more information.
