Financial Aid

Chicago
Credit Students
Students enrolled in an online program leading to a degree may be eligible for financial aid. Students enrolled in certificate programs or taking courses as non-degree are not eligible for federal financial aid. For degree-seeking students to be considered, a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on file. In addition, you must be enrolled at least part-time (registered for 6 credit hours; or 3 credit hours during summer term) and maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the Financial Aid Office. For more specific information, students should contact the Financial Aid Office directly.

Non-Credit Students
Financial aid is not available to non-credit students.

Springfield
Students enrolled in an online program leading to a degree or certificate may be eligible for financial aid. For information about financial aid awards, visit the Office of Financial Assistance home page. Information about applications, financial aid processes, frequently asked financial aid questions, and financial aid forms are all available through this site. Urbana-Champaign
Students enrolled in an online program leading to a degree or certificate may be eligible for financial aid. To be considered, a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on file. You must be enrolled at least part-time (registered for 6 credit hours or 1.5 units during a semester; or 3 credit hours or .75 units during summer term) and must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined in the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) at the Office of Student Financial Aid Web site.
