The Office of Continuing Education and the Building Research Council in the School of Architecture have developed 10 online modular courses in sustainable design. These classes provide continuing education credits for architects, and they are an important source of current information for builders, planners, and others associated with the construction industry. Each module takes one to two hours to complete, and individuals who complete the entire set receive a certificate. Module topics include "Introduction to the Architecture of Sustainability", "Sustainable Site Planning and Design", Water Resources and Efficiency", "Energy Efficient Buildings and Systems", "Indoor Environmental Quality", "Ecological Approaches to Building", "Green Project Management", "The Green Neighborhood", and "Green Building Rating Credit System".

To date there have been 120 registrations for these online modules.
