LEEP holds virtual reunion

On September 19, 2003, 70 LEEP faculty, staff, students and graduates gathered online for the first LEEP Virtual Reunion. LEEP is the online scheduling option for masters and (post-masters) Certificate of Advanced Studies students in the UIUC Graduate School of Library and Information Science. LEEP began in 1996 to as an option for students who want to attend our well-regarded school without relocating to campus. To date, 320 students have graduated via LEEP. The first LEEP Virtual Reunion provided an opportunity for members of the LEEP community to "get-together" and also participate in a variety of interactive sessions. Topics of interest included Career Tales and Trends, Community Inquiry, Social Justice Initiatives, Telenature, Continuing Education and Alumni Services.
